Unfair labor practices

This term "unfair labor practices" was used over and
over by the striking players, but what I never understood was
what EXACTLY they were hoping to get changed. It seems like there
weren't a whole lot of specific "demands" for management
to decide to meet or not meet, so the strike just dragged out.
It was like once they went on strike emotions took over rather
than it being a business negotiation. Was there a list of "here's
how we want changed for us to come back and play" that anyone
is aware of?
