That map is nice. Having to be 50 miles from the dogs makes it
tricky. Maybe if the slots get in and Broward/Dade facilities
do well then perhaps there will be movement in other counties
to allow...especially Palm Beach where the Pompano harness track
is just over the county line. How great would it be to see the
old Palm beach fronton built up again. Don King wanted that sports/entertainment/boxing
complex...well if slots were in the mix why not build a huge facility
with all that plus jai-alai, slots and a poker room....a mini
Las Vegas style resort in South Florida.
