The house doesn't need to cap off or sell out of a number to make money. It would be over the course of the year that a portion of monies from nights that the house made it big would put that into an evergrowing pot to cover those days the house might be upside down. Regardless of the technical stuff over a years time the house would always make money. Fixed odds betting works with a lot of online gaming sites as well as in LasVegas sports books on certain events. I think at the very least it should be tried for six months and see what happens. The excitement it will generate will bring back some old fans and will win some new ones. If that is the least it will do then so be it.
