Well, when i was coaching on a regular basis at the now defunct Hartford Jai-Alai i did have a regular spot. It was front center about 3 or 4 rows up from the court. I needed to be close enough so the players could hear my coaching. I liked sitting in that area as well because my reputation of being the Mayor of Hartford jai-alai brought much attention. Many folks including the state of Ct., Hartford PD, numerous retired players and workers of the fronton and of course the bettors would come and say hello throughout the night. Many of my fans wanted to sit near me. I miss those days.
