I made some money back in the day at Hartford keying on post 1
and 2. When the top players(especially Cachin, James or Lasa)
played in singles and had 6-8 posts it was too easy. I would figure
out that one of those big three could run the game but Hartford
bettors would have a 6,7 quienla at lower odds then a 16 or 17.
They would box the two or three best players in the game disregarding
post position. I would look at the odds and stick with making
money in singles games if it's set up right.
