They play two different types of games, and both are obviously
the worlds best. Irastorza plays a more offensive game...will
run in and play the whole court, as he has much better mobility
than Lopez. If he can play mid-court and dominate with his right
side, he's going to go for it. He has the catching ability to
play anywhere on the court and has the rebote if he is caught
out of position. A much more spectacular and flashy player.
Lopez is a bull and plays the backwall most of the time. He is extremely steady in his catching and most of the time throws hard enough to pass the frontcourt and make the opposing backcourt make the play at the backcourt, and he is best in the game at playing that way. He is like a machine and is hard to beat. I just don't see a ton of offense most of the time..you can see it when he is forced to move forward and throw the low bullet, but again, most of the time he is at the backwall.
Irastorza is flashier and more exciting to watch, Lopez is
harder to beat as he is a machine. Its a toss up who is the better
player! Power wise Storza has a far more offensive right, and
Lopez left. Rebote to me is equal.
