I'm sure most on here know my stance on this. At Orlando, 14 is
too many, EXCEPT Citrus weekend. 12 games is much more realistic,
and cut out two singles games. Slightly longer post times, and
you make up the wagering difference. To end any peformance with
singles is rather bland. I think every fronton should end with
championship doubles to 9 points, with the featured singles before
that. Again, slightly longer post times, and you make up the difference.
I enjoy the super games, and it gives all players of all caliber
the chance to play a game with a little more endurance at times.
The continual problem, though, is that people leave when the featured
plays take the court! I can't think of any other professional
sport (except tennis in Grand Slams at the U S Open and the Australian
Open), where players play past midnight.
