I don't see near as many performances as I'd like to. When I lived in Brooklyn, I took in between 100 and 110 performances per year, making the 90 minute cummute each way at least twice a week. Nowadays, I try to get three visits to Miami/Orlando per year in where I take in 3 or 4 performances per trip. When Orlando is in season, I'll make 3 to 6 trips per season (the wife is not a huge jai alai fan!) but this year I'm hoping I'll get her and a few of our friends there a couple of times. As for Ocala, when there were open for two months I made about 3 trips per season. Last year, out of protest for the short season, I punished myself by not seeing a performance, even though it's one of my favorite all time frontons.
Still, it's better than no live jai alai at all...and if I were single I'd be in Orlando twice a week for performances...but I love my wife!!!
