Same as jaialou, 1983, my cousin and her husband called and said, lets go to jai alai. I didn't know anything about the game. My wife and I went, and after 5 minutes, I loved the game. My favorite color is red, and my now ex's was green, so I played the 1/4 quinella. We got there for game 6, and I remember like it was yesterday, the singles game when the late game players first came out, game 7, Remen was in the 4, and Del Rio in the 1. The 1/4 finished first and second, and a life long fan was born! I almost forgot, that was Hartford Jai Alai.
